PISTA BLOG#16 (Nov 2022):THE GLOBAL O&G INDUSTRY IS ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING INDUSTRIES FOR EMPLOYMENT

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE GLOBAL OIL & GAS INDUSTRY IS ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING INDUSTRIES FOR EMPLOYMENT?

WHAT TYPES OF CAREERS CAN ONE HAVE IN THIS INDUSTRY?

General Oil and Gas Employment Statistics

Before 2019, many hundred-thousand globally had jobs in the energy sector, this fact is already well known. The Pandemic over-shadowed the continuous need for O&G . And evidently there has been an increase in Global O&G Industry Employment of at least about 2 to 3 percent over the year before—and employers (as of Nov 2022)are still hiring. In the US alone, oil and natural gas added more than 18,000 new jobs in 2021 and anticipated adding many more by 2022-year end.

However, what does all this mean? Simple, employers are hungry for oil and gas workers.

In the Indian sub-continent nearly all of Indian O&G Employers (Both Governmental and Private Firms) suggest that their human resources departments are struggling to find qualified employees (keeping in mind their cost effectiveness). These employers cited lack of training as a top reason. Enter world class Safety and technical Training facilities and courses (www.pistaoffshore.com)
